Dear Ramp Family and Friends,

One of the most precious gifts God has given me is the privilege of sharing the mission God has given me with my children. The apostle John said, “I have no greater joy than to know that my children walk in truth.” I am so thankful for the way Casey and Lindsey have served the ministry as Lead Pastors of Ramp Church. Casey is a man of God, full of integrity and character. He is anointed to teach and preach the word of God. Lindsey is also an anointed teacher of the word, and an artistic, creative delight!

Ever since I have known Casey, he has carried in his heart a dream to plant his own church. Now after service this ministry so well for fifteen years, Casey and Lindsey feel the time is right for them to plant a church in Knoxville, TN.

While my mother and grandmother heart is torn, my spiritual mother heart rejoices knowing this is right for them and for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Casey and Lindsey will continue to be a part of the Ramp as much as possible, preaching in all the conferences, at the Ramp School of Ministry, and at Ramp Church.

I ask you to keep them in your heart and your prayers as they take this step of faith.

Rick and I look forward to working with the pastoral and teaching staff of Ramp church to move into the fullness of the mission and vision God has given us.

Thank you for loving the Ramp and our family. There are many promises God has given all of us yet to be fulfilled. Together we move forward in faith, knowing our Father is guiding every step.
With much love,
Karen Wheaton – Senior Leader of the Ramp

Dear Ramp Family and Friends,

For the last fifteen years, Lindsey and I have watched from a front row seat as God transformed a generation through the Ramp. It has and continues to be an overwhelming honor. Mrs. Karen and Mr. Rick are the two most godly, gracious, generous, and sacrificial leaders I’ve ever known, in addition to being the best parents and grandparents one could ask for :) They are real to the bone. The standard never bends. They have always treated me and Lindsey with nothing short of tremendous love, total support, and staggering generosity.

Since I was a teenager I always carried a dream in my heart to plant a church. Once Lindsey and I married, we always knew someday this would be a part of God’s plan for us. We pressed pause on that desire for a number of years because we sensed the Father asking us to give our lives for the sake of the Ramp and its mission. We do not regret one moment. The lives that have been changed goes beyond anything we ever dreamed. The leadership team are not our colleagues or co-workers, nor are they even friends, but they are brothers and sisters for life. All the prayers we prayed, messages we preached, dances we performed, and fun we had, will be a part of us forever. What God has joined together, let no one separate. We will always run this race with each other no matter what.

Recently, Lindsey and I have felt the fires of planting our own church being stoked again. After months of praying, thinking, and talking, we sense now is the time to express what is fully in our hearts. We will be transitioning out of our current roles at the Ramp and will be launching a church in Knoxville, TN. The timeline looks something like this: we will move our family to Knoxville this summer before school starts. We will immediately start building our launch team and raising our launch budget. We will also begin our vision meetings and worship nights, with our first official service happening in January or February of 2018. For the sake of clarity, this will not be a Ramp campus. It will be the vision that we’ve carried in our heart for so many years. We burn to create a movement that ignites hope though the beauty of the Gospel and transforms lives. Hence the name of our church: Hope Unlimited.

On another note, our role at the Ramp will not change in enormous ways. I will continue to preach at all our conferences and teach at the school of ministry. Concerning the church, everything will be business as usual, with Mrs. Karen and Mr. Rick steering the ship, and our incredible teaching staff helping carry the load of preaching. We will also continue to minister at Ramp Church as much as time will allow.

Transitions like this are always bittersweet. We are so excited and so terrified; so happy and so sad, all at the same time. In the end, we are all after the same thing: building for the Kingdom of God.

We love you all very much. The best is still to come.

Casey & Lindsey Doss
